Job Summary
Office Administrators monitor and coordinate patients’ treatment plans, guide them to understand the status of their health, and check in on their progress. Compassionate, knowledgeable, and communicative, the Office Administrator also collaborates with other members of the care team to look after patients within the healthcare facility. This requires an individual with exceptional customer service, being comfortable on the phone, and willing to learn internal patient tracking programs & systems.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain professionalism and treat patients with respect & great care
- Responsible for patient retention, recalls and phone communications
- Develop care plans with internal care team to ensure patients’ safety & growth
- Educate patients and family members about health conditions
- Contact insurance companies to ensure approval requirements are met
- Establish and maintain relationships with service providers
- Provide support to front desk administration
- Follow facility guidelines, healthcare laws, and regulations
Skills and Qualifications
- Understanding of the funding resources, services, and clinical standards and outcomes
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- Highly organized with a strong ability to manage different priorities
- Ability to work with others and use resources to problem solve
- Apply good judgement to fast-changing situations
- Strong customer service skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Effective collaborator and works well with a team of other caretakers
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: From $16.00 per hour
